The Aquinnah Police Department is asking for the public’s help in the wake of several vandalism incidents on private properties along Moshup Trail. On Sept. 17, police found grafiti on the road’s stop line at the Moshup Trail and State Road intersection. Other offenses observed by police included stolen flags, broken outdoor lighting fixtures and destroyed mailboxes.
The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects. It is not clear if these incidents are connected.
